Although the race is located at a secluded farm, the farm is located in Oglethorpe County and, as of October 15, has 269 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 in the last 14 days. Surrounding counties, including Athens-Clarke County, also are high-risk areas. Please exercise proper self-protective measures, including wearing your mask, washing your hands, maintaining at least 6 feet from others, and to not touch your nose, mouth, or eyes.

The event will be exercising all precautions and following all guidelines set forth in the Governor’s most recent Executive Order, including following Gathering provisions. As such only 50 persons are allowed on the course at any given time.

Consider bringing multiple masks to replace soiled masks. If you are within arms reach of your car and at least 6 feet from others, you do not need to wear a mask. Masks will not be required while racing. Masks will be required during podium. When in doubt wear the mask. On a similar note, Athens-Clarke County has a mask ordinance in place so bring it if you go into town.
